World War II Memorial, which has been respected greatly by the local people. During the war the tower of the Cistercian church was bombed, its bell fell off but the arch of the entrance hall held it.
It was taken out in 1995. The memorial is a sculptor- Mária Lugossy’s the work of art: it symbolizes a bomb crater and a lavaflow with the original bell in the centre. Next to it János Pilinszky’s Epitaph can be read.
