Flower Clock

The Flower Clock of Székesfehérvár is a living piece of art and the local people have been taking care of it and love for 50 years.

The flowerclock had had a mechanical instrument earlier, the original one had been made by a master in Budapest in the 1960s. Jenő Kovács, the famous clockmaster had been responsible for its punctuality until he died, present days his son, András Kovács takes care of it. The clockwork can be found in a cellar under the hillock, if we are nosy about it, take a look into the slot behind the clock.
