This is one of the most romantic streets in Fehérvár. It was the filming scene of the Alba Regia film in 1961. From the film the story of the former surgeon and the Russian signalwoman can be known: around the end of the war sometimes the Russian sometimes the German occupied the town.

One day an exhausted young woman rang the surgeon’s bell and told that she was a refugee. The surgeon let her in and for a while the woman was hiding in his flat. Of course, they fell in love with each other… Going up the stairs, in the Megyeház street, on the right, a Gothic corner balcony, the oldest one in the town, can be seen.
