Once in the square, the Buda Gate of the fortress of Fehérvár was standing. On the national flag the angels holding the Holy Crown, on the altar a carved picture of Hungary can be seen.

The Holy Crown was carved from a stone block, under it the certified copy of the coronation sword of Matthias King II is situated, the pedestal is decorated with the coat of arms of the 64 historical counties. The historical Hungary’s 64 counties’ soil relic was taken into the pit of the monument’s altarstone.
