Ady Endre Street Stolperstein-Stumbling Stones

The stones on the ground remind us Bernát Grosz and his family.

He was the owner of Black Eagle Hotel and inside it, the first cinema in the town, a prestigious businessman and local representative. During the World War II, he and his family got into an impossible situation owing to their religion. In 1944 all of their properties were confiscated, after humiliation and torture they were deported to Auschwitz together with 2700 Jews from Fejér county.
