Some decades ago Aunt Kate was the „living legend” of the town who could not imagine that once a statue will be set up for her and she will forever mark her place in the cultural and social life of the town. She was the costermonger of the old food and vegetable market, selling roasted duck, goose from her cart.

The local people never forget her hard working, stamina and her love of the hometaste. Her statue is surrounded by a special superstition in Liszt Ferenc street: if someone rubs her nose, it brings them good luck.
