It is a green oasis at the edge of the downtown, a spot for romantic strolls, dates – summertime it is a picnic place, winter time you can ice skate here. In the triangle shaped park, among the trees there are monuments, statues and ornamental vases.
Its most romantic spot is the scalloped, cast iron bandstand which was donated to the town by the eponymous of the park, the Asia explorer, Jenő Zichy. The bandstand was displayed by Oetl Foundry in 1789, at the Industrial Expo, it was bought by the eponymous and gifted to the town.
