Walking in the Városház Square, we can discover a fountain into the wall. Ferenc Medgyesi’s artwork depicts the Turkish-Hungarian battle.

It was made for the 250th anniversary of the liberation from the Turkish occupation. In summer, we can drink water from it, it gives a real and cool refreshment for the passers-by. Next to, it we can find the Orb, its place an ice pit was standing long time ago. The store could already exist in 1602, although the place was used to a cell where Turkish hostages were kept.
