At the National Memorial Place the true story of the Hungarian kings will reveal in front of us. Romantic and sometimes fabulous legends are about the kings’ coronations, weddings, funerals. Through the centuries important questions had been done in the town, where the jurisdiction, judgement took place, our kings made decision about the future of the country.

It witnessed 38 coronation ceremonies, 15 kings and 9 queens were buried here. The Holy Crown was guarded here with the royal treasury and archives. We are in the sacred center of the country.
