Saint Ann Chapel

The chapel, near the cathedral, was named after Virgin Mary’s mother, Saint Ann. Ann and her husband, Joachim wished for a child so much and their prayers had brought the result- the girl was conceived, who was called Mary.

She, later, gave Jesus to the world. The little Fehérvár chapel reminds the humanity of this strong faith. Since the 1470s it has been standing persistently and proclaiming the will coming from common love.
