This place commemorates Saint Stephen’s son, who died very young, at the age of 24. On the wall of St Emeric Church there is a plaque, on which it can be read that Prince Emeric was born here and the royal palace was standing here as well.

Surely, many people do not know this. Other interesting information is that the floor has a different colour in one part of the church and not because they ran out of the material and had to replace it. If someone steps on this darker stone, it is better to know: under it a Saint Emeric relic can be found, a piece of bone. For a long time it was unknown where it was.
