The mine pit formed in the 1910s, that is practically the little brother of the Mine Lake in Öreghegy. Once it had been a mining centre, later the waste of the town was disposed here, finally it got a soil cover and the formation of the vegetation could start.

It is the most bustling green belt park in the town, where the cyclist, the runner, the sportsperson who trains on the fitness machine, the child on the playground and the walker with their dog can get on well together- just like a community park in a metropolis, the life is always vivid here.

The next destination across the town is the most beautiful and most exciting natural area both by bicycle and on foot.

Leaving behind the MOL Aréna Sóstó imposing building and the nature reserve, cycling across Tóváros housing estate, we can reach one of the biggest park of Székesfehérvár.

The next spot is also a green belt park connecting organically to two lakes, along it sportscentre, wood, island, recreation parks, fishing, romantic boating, culture house, rose park and modern playground are waiting for the visitors.

The Old island of the Boating lake can be reached by a wooden bridge. There an amazing artwork can be seen. The hydraulic system is worth visiting mainly in the evening time. It was made by István Haraszty ordered by Dénes Deák art collector, patron.

It is a real open-air sports oasis for the sportslovers. In this green centre, we can try out running track, soccer pitch, basketball- and handball court, tennis, streetball, rollerskate, skate board and a BMX track.It is one of the most important spot of the town’s civil and professional sportslife, it is the home of the Regional Athletic Centre and Gyulai Memorial Athletic Hungarian GP.

We only need to take a deep breath and we can start to the Aszal Valley, that is in the European Union nature reserve territory network, the Natura 2000; since 2015 it has been a local nature reserve.
