The classicist building is one of the featured one in the square, it was built from the remains of the old castle wall and its two bastions. Mihály Pollack designed the facade of the building. On the corinthian columns there is the trigonal facade with the county coat of arms.
St Stephen offers the holy crown to Virgin Mary. In the cellar there had been the prison of the county till 1901. The buildings in the yard were sheds long time ago. The inside construction, the stairway, the back corridor, and the dome of the foyer has baroque style, mostly with garlanded decorations.
The foyer’s wall is covered with red marble, on its a marble plaque reminds us tot he date of the construction. Its assembly hall was renovated in 1938 and furnished with new furniture. The Fejér County Archives’ exhibition room was a chapel long time ago.
